Lyle Junior Marlow

Lyle Junior Marlow, 69, of Tamaroa, passed away at 10:40 p.m. Saturday, January 22, 2000 at the Marshall Browning Hospital in DuQuoin.
Junior was retired from the Illinois Department of Transportation.  He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of DuQuoin, the DuQuoin VFW Post 513 and Tamaroa American Legion Post 1277.  He was a US Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He was born July 17, 1930 at Tamaroa, the son of Lyle H. and Florence (Morrow) Marlow.  He married Pam Moore on February 9, 1952 at Chester, England and she survives.
In addition to his wife of Tamaroa, he is survived by one son, Lyle Dean Marlow and wife Bonnie of Tamaroa; one daughter, Catherine Jo Steely and husband Jim of West Frankfort; grandchildren, Brittany Marlow Yates, Ian Scott Marlow, Cody James Steely, June Allyson Steely and Samantha Paige Meredith Steely and one sister, Linda Kay Seits of Ziegler.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services were Wednesday, January 26 at 1 p.m. at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa with Rev. Max Borah officiating.  Interment was in the Tamaroa Cemetery.
Friends were able to call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.  
Friends may make memorials to the Marshall Browning Hospital new addition. 
Military graveside rites were conducted by the DuQuoin VFW Post 513.
